well the thing that throws me off is the basket is badged as a 12W7-3. maybe it's a really old one? i'm just very curious

I picked up a JL Audio 12W7-3 yesterday and usually when I see W6's and W7's they say W6 or W7 on the bottom of the cone but this one has the JL logo where the W7 should be. it's really weird and I can't find any like it online. if you google "JL Audio Fathom", that is what it looks like but...

Okay, so I probably shouldn't have done this but I drew up plans on my box. it's for a single 12" and will have a single PVC port 4" wide and 12" long. after port and basket displacement, the box will be 2.25 cubes. So this is my problem... By the way, it's 3/4" MDF Home Depot cut the pieces...

Ok thanks for the replies. I know I need to get a lot better amp and I will eventually, but my question is do you think it is bad to run them with this amp in the meantime until I buy the better one? Will it be bad for the w6 subs and cause them harm since they are being underpowered?
