    I mean that on my block there is not just a single ground cable that mounts to the frame. Multiple ground wires I can visually see 4 right now. some are 4 gauge some are 8. I think I am going to send the amp back and get a replacement.

    Battery --> alternator = 2 gauge Battery ground --> chassis = 2 gauge Engine block --> chassis --> a bunch of 4/8 gauge I ran all new wiring with the motor swap a few months back.

    I'm almost certain that it is the voltage drop when the sub hits hard. If it stays around 13 volts it is fine, anything below that, low 12's high 11's and it will kick right off. Any way I can stable up my power besides a new alternator/battery?
