Actually styrofoam sounds like a good idea for moulding the curves. Maybe the styrofoam could be coated in some kinda glue o r paint so the resin doesn't eat at it?

Oh yeah, I also found a solution to using the pocket 8cm cd-rs. Memorex actually makes an adapter rim to use with them. Their cool color pocket cd-rs are very cool. They look like something out of a Bond film. They will come in handy when I only have 4 or 5 songs to burn.
