Which is a better sub a 12"MTX thunder series or 12"Kicker Comp series?

The max dimensions I have to work with are 30"w x21"l x 18"h in the front of the box and 14" in the rear of the box.I thought about 3 10's but don't have the width to do it.But a ported box would give the best all around.How are the kicker comp 12's?Are they any good?

I want to install subs and a box in the trunk of my 06 Charger.I have an mtx 450 watt mono block amp to push.I wanted to run 2 12's.What can I run as far as subs and for an enclosure should it be ported,sealed,or a bandpass.I like the sound of the Alpine type R.I am limited on space due to spare...
