The amp's gain was set to a point.. I'm not sure where and the gain supposedly overheated and I had to take it back to the shop that hooked it up and they set the gain down and had to reset the entire system... they claimed it wouldn't happen anymore as long as I kept the bass down... so I...- Nitro248

Yea it's the black face. They are in their seperate boxes, ported. The gain is all the way down if that's what you are asking and I'm not sure about the bass boost.- Nitro248

Alright, I recently bought 2 15" kicker comps from a friend and they work great. Only thing is the amp that I got from him seems like they don't power the subs to their full potential (MRP M500).
