I want it to be loud but I also want the bass to be tight and clear. So I guess loudness first quality second. Just looking for a good all around sub. If the IDM's can be loud, given the right enclosure, and better SQ then IDM it is. Plus like I said Orion XTR PRO 2400, can I go wrong? 2 12's...

yea I read the rms on the IDMAX are 1000 and JL 750, both can handle about 200 more of course. But I also heard and I quote heard IDM's are more SQ than anything.

I have a choice 2 12w7 or 2 12"IDMAX. Which one is better, I need help. For the IDMAX I have a chance to get an Orion XTR PRO 2400. Dont know what to push JL's with. Some good detailed advice please.

No, there's no filter on on the fader output. Just on the amp. What is meant by the slope of the x-over,you say it's ok but I thought there was supposed to be no voices at all.
