Ok my existing mtx 801d just crapped out on me. I was using it to power a jl 10w6v2 (dual 4 ohm). The car is a honda s2000 and where the amp goes, there is only room for an amp about the size of 12x12x2.75 at most probably. Im wondering if I should just go with another 801d or something else...

I have a MTX 801d, where the power connections go onto the amp is loose and can be moved up and down. I took the amp apart and say the points that go onto the circuit board is loose. My question is do I just need to solder these again to get it stable? I can solder but have never really...
