    Power Question

Will almost definately be fine. If it were a Pre-1994 vehicle you might have needed an upgrade. Just make sure to find out the ampere rating to be on the safe side. 80A should be adequate enough for newer vehicles.

    Amp channels

Yes you can. The Clarion APX1300 that I have has 4 terminals (2 positive, 2 negative). When your running one sub, you can bridge it. I'll post a photo of the setup from the manual providing my digital camera's batteries don't die on me now.

    Help Finding an amp

What is your budget on an amp? That is the first question that needs to be looked at. By taking a look at the specs of that sub, I say try out the Clarion APX1300 monoblock. Run it at 300wrms @ 4-ohm (so 150wrms per sub). I own this amp and it makes my dual 12" Clarion SB12XBs (2006) hit pretty...

    Amp channels

Monoblocks are 1 channel. You can adjust the power by bridging a monoblock too. I have a Clarion APX1300 monoblock which runs at 1x300w @ 4-ohm (running 2 subs) or 1x400w @ 2-ohm (running 1 (2-ohm stable) sub). Multi-channel amps are more flexible to use, however don't deliver as much power per...

Budget amp to power my d6

Might want to take a look at some of the Kenwood amps. You can pick up a 1000w amp for around 100 $Au - I'd imagine that would be around 90 $US. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Cheap amps tend not to last as long without proper care than their more expensive counter-parts.

    Power Question

Depends on the Ampere the alternator puts out. A 60A alternator can handle maximum 400w without draining the battery. I'm not sure on the exact formula, but I would imagine a 1200w would require atleast an 80A - 100A alternator, maybe even as high as 140A! What type of vehicle do you drive?

Does my battery have ANYTHING to do with my amp not working?

One of two thing I can think of. 1) Your battery is old and small 2) You need a new alternator How many Ampere does your alternator put out and what is the power rating of the amp? I know that a 300w amplifier will demand 46A EDIT: Also did you alter the gains or any other settings on the...

Anyone tried thes 3.5's Blaupunkt PCxb352?

3.5s are terrible unless you power them off an amp. Invest some cash in some speaker pods for the doors and get yourself, at the very least, a pair of 5.25 splits. You'll be surprised at the difference in sound you get. I myself upgraded from 4 inch coaxials in the front to a pair of 6.5 inch...
