I talked to Alpine and they claim it cant be done? This is starting to disappoint me here. Pete where did you purchase the solder joints at? As for the ribbon cable did you get a custom cable made or did you just alter a 40 pin ide cable?

I was wondering how I might go about wiring a face plate into a visor, and then put the unit under the seat, so i can go stealth. Are there any aftermarket adaptors or will I have to use a sodering gun? Any websites would be helpfull. Thanks, Nate
