What is a DMM?

Ok now I understand clipping lol. I already have the amp (got it from a friend). I was just wondering if these subs were gonna blow or not with the amp.

Is the gain what makes them hit harder I just want a loud system and the only place I can really go is walmart. This is what they had that was nice. And what does unclipped mean?
