its 150 watts x 2 at 4 ohms

so i think the amp is toast as soon as the amp turns on with subs connected its going into protect mode. So i went and bought a little 900 watt max pioneer amp at walmart for now it says ill get 225rms x 2 at 2 ohms now my question is i have my sub wired at 4 ohms How do i wire my Single kicker...

what else could it be could it be something with the amp?

ok i rewired the sub to 4 ohm and its still fricking going to protection mode when i hook the subs up i dont understand

should i rewire it to 4 ohm take one positive and one negative together then wire the other pos and neg to amp?

Yes when i hook the subs to the amp it goes to protection mode slobalt. CrossoverOre I will go out to my car now and take sub out and open box to see Im only connecting one a sub to the amp its a mono amp the subs a kicker 12 inch but model number ill go check now brb thanks for helping guys
