Ok, so I measured my box...34" Longx 16" Deepx 14"tall This is after I took them to the car audio place. They said they had blown and took them to send them back to JL. On a side note, is it true that it is impossible to get them to get as loud as I want in a BMW 3 series, a guy at the car...

So today I was at our local car audio place. I was talking to one of the guys there that I've always felt my w3s should be a lot louder. He was telling me that they would be a lot louder in pretty much any other car. I was just wondering if there was anything short of a new car that would help...

I apologize about the vague questions, I just really know absolutely NOTHING about this stuff. I do know that I listen to a lot of newer rap music, but I also listen to older classic rock.I forgot to mention that I also have dynomat in the trunk. I honestly don't know anything else about the box...

So, around christmas I bought my first system for my car. I got 2 12w3 JL's, a 500w Rock Fos Power amp, Sony xplod deck, capacitor, and 4 new door speakers. I believe the subs are in a ported box. This system has never been as loud as I wanted it to be. I realize I could be pushing a lot more...
