Im pretty sure it is an 8", Im up for doing it but im worried that it will sound like total crap.

I was thinking about trying a shallow mount pioneer 8" subwoofer in my factory enclosure in my 2004 Explorer. I will be powered by an "old" punch 100. Has anyone tried that?? Do you think it will sound decent or crap? I just dont want to put a box with 12"'s or anything in the back. Thanks
