    Probably a dumb question but....

Awesome, I was wondering that myself. So many possibilities now, lol.

    Infinite Baffle Avalanche

I just put an IB install in my car and, with the subs I have, it sounds great (though I don't have much to compare it to). One thing you'll want to make sure you cover is if the subs you want will do well in an IB enviroment, not all subs are designed for that. If you are hesitant about an IB...

**The Greatest Bass CD Ever Made!**

Man, thanks thanks thanks! This is awesome...gotta take awhile to dl one file at a time, I'd rather set one 100MB file all night (only takes about 10 hours lol) but beggars cant be choosers eh? I just finished getting White Girl, sounds awseome on the comp (I have Logitech X-230 hooked up so...

**The Greatest Bass CD Ever Made!**

Could anyone possibly upload to Rapid Share? Mega Upload isn't working at all for me, and I'd quite appreciate some of these tunes. Dammit I hate dial-up Thanks in advance if anyone would be so kind as to upload a RS file

**The Greatest Bass CD Ever Made!**

Am I the only one having trouble dowloading? After I get the DL started, a couple hundred KB into the DL it stops and I get an error: C:\blahblahblah could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.   Try again later, or contact the server administrator. I'm on dial-up and was...

    question regarding port area.

I don't know what difference in sound you'll hear with more or less, but for each sub and box combo, there'll be a port size optimum to that setup. One sub in a box with a 7" sq port may sound great, while another in the same box, same port size, will not. At least, that's what I've come to...

    saw dust bad for sub?

Working in the log home restoration buisness, there's these neat rags that you can get that will wipe up any sawdust lickty split, instead of clumping it like a regular wet rag can do. EDIT: And may I ask, what kinda subs are those in yor avatar?? Never seen anything like those...

Suggestions for a small and simple rear deck mount sub?

The "box" doesn't have to be large, just enough space to hold the subs, you don't need the air volume inside the box that you would a normal sealed/vented box.

Suggestions for a small and simple rear deck mount sub?

Mount some MDF under the 5x7" holes and put a 4" hole in the middle, make a box like the one in the bottom of the page (like the one I'll probably make, so it's like a small box for your subs) and mount it against the MDF under your 5x7" with the 4" continuing into your box. Put some 4" PVC pipe...

Suggestions for a small and simple rear deck mount sub?

Yeah, I'd suggest you go with an infinite baffle design. It's small, simple, and you can use those 5x7" holes to your advantage. This site shows you some designs, I'm most likely putting an IB install in my car that'll be similar to the one on the bottom of that page.

    any good?

What do you drive, what do you listen to, what do you have for space, what's your budget, do you want something that's just loud, or crisp? All that aside, I'm sure you can't go wrong with Fi.

    Insignia and Infinite Baffle

Ew, I wouldn't use a prefab box anyway. I have a nice large sheet of 3/4" MDF just ready for me. The reason the IB install was suggested is because of the specs I have above (Fs, Qts and enclosure size). Size isn't an issue as I have a '91 CHrysler Dynasty, large trunk. But I would have have the...

    Insignia and Infinite Baffle

Hey, I recently (well, a good 2-3 months ago actually) got this package and it was sugested to install it in an infinite baffle setup. Do ya'll figure it's a good call, and the drivers could take it? And yes, I searched the forums here beforehand about Insignia, and though your general...
