That's why I was surprised when I saw these custom boxes on ebay for $150+ and 500+ 5 star reviews. I'll be glad to pay a bit more if it means I get a nearly perfect product.

Looks like he offers a bunch of different ones, some including bracing. Should I stay away from non-braced?

I've seen a couple guys on ebay that build custom enclosures, even tuned to specific woofers. Zenclosures and Concept Enclosures are the two most interesting that I saw, and was wondering if anyone ordered a pre-made custom box before. Preferably 10 or 12 inch, needs to be one or two woofers totaling between 600-800 RMS and able to be wired to a 2ohm amp load. Willing to pay up to $350 shipped.

That's absurd. Then again when you get to subs of that quality, they could probably handle anything. Matching sounds like it was made for cheap $100 subs and amps.

So always buy woofers that take more wattage than the amp is rated for?

So clipping only happens when you dont set your gains properly?

What about clipping? Or is that only relevant when you get into higher wattage levels?
