OK I'm sorry to start all this trouble. I will clear up the thred question. I was looking for amp to power my new Sound Splinter Sub and i noticed you could produce more power on a 2 channel amp bridged even at 4 ohms for less money, than you could on a mono a 2 ohms so i was wondering if there...

is there any down side to buying a 2 channel and bridging opposed to getting a mono block?

Is it possible to use too much wattage and have the sound pressure damage your car, like crack windows ect.? If so how much would it take? just wondering thanks.
