the gap is no tighter than an IDmax or MTX 9500.... they would suffer the same consequences if what you say is true.... but i've owned them all, and listened quite extensively, no signs of scraping or failure..... im confident it will opperate normally.... thanks for the concern...

sorry no break for local pickup... while its design is pure SPL, there were a lot of listeners that wouldnt mind using the sub daily, in a low-tuned enclosure... i used a box that was tuned @ 31Hz, with awesome response down to 25Hz at impressive pressure levels. peak output was in the 40Hz...
