It's all good now, today cooled down to 80 and went for a drive and never had any issues. I must say the new system sounds outstanding. I have the Kenwood DDX9705s with the idatalink, and its pretty ******* using the digital gauges on the headunit, because my car never had them.

Hmm ok thats what I figured it shutdown because the heat, I will have to be careful when its hot out. Also one of the speaker wires to the sub was a little bit shredded. So I re-stripped them. The amps are Memphis VIV400.4 & Memphis SRX250.1 Sub is wired to 2 ohm. Here's some pics

I have a memphis 16-SRX250.1 mono amp. I lost the wire for the remote bass knob. Its an RJ25 on both ends. Can I use a standard RJ25 crimped wire, or do I need get it from memphis?

The Kenwood DDX's are one of the best headunits you can buy. Your first problem is having Best Buy install it. Sounds like a ground problem, or other wiring issue. Take it back to them and have them check the install.

I just got a brand new Kenwood 9705S, and it supports high res. Got a decent system, quality speakers and amps. So can you only buy high res music digitally? Do you lose any quality copying it to usb flash drive? Any suggestions for some rock high res music tracks to get?
