Was looking for a good 10" sq sub and seen these for $100. Are these a sq or spl? and would I be better of going with the JL 10w6v2?

Looking for a set of components to put in my lexus is300. I plan on running the factory HU with a Kenwood Excelon XR-4S amp. I see that the CTX-65S are cheaper but if the Alpines are going to give me better sound I have no problem spending the money.

Wats so special about having a USB in the HU? Isnt there a way that u can connect an ipod to the 9887?

So i plan on upgrading the sound system in my IS300. I plan on buying a Kenwood Excelon XR-4S and a pair of Image Dynamics CTX65S components.. i would like to know if it i necessary to get an aftermarket HU or can I keep the factory HU and get an adaptor for my ipod.

Looking for a good 10" sub for my vehicle with good SQ. Both can be had for about the same price so $$ is not a concern.

So if someone is just starting the process of installing an aftermarket setup(HU,components,amp and subs) which would be best to install first?

I recently go an IS300 and looking to add a 10" FI Qsub. I would like to have the extra space in my trunk so Im thinking of firing the sub through the ski pass. Does this sound like a good idea or would it be better to have the sub in the trunk?
