Anybody try Cadence equipment?, I like the high power idea. The CVSL69-6x9 handles 150RMS ea. and the CWM-6kit (6.5") handles 100RMS ea.

Looking for ideas to try for a new upper end (6x9's, 6 1/2's , tweeters for pillars), I've been out of the car stereo picture for 15 years and wondered what you guys are running. I like to listen to screaming loud metal music- MUDVAYNE, SLAYER, STATIC-X, HATEBREED, etc. and I need something...

It's worth a try.

A friend of mine bought a used car with a Kenwood KVT-717dvd in it and he has no manual with it to work it. When the open/close button is pushed the screen comes out and the display reads password on it and we have no idea what to do.

There's a lot of new car audio manufacturers out there and I don't know much about them, this is why I asked the "STUPID" question. Thinking about trying something different than Kicker for awhile and if I'm going to shoot the wad ($) on some new equipment I want to be sure I'm not buying...

Ryan, what brands of high end equipment are you talking about, do you think Cadence is low end equip?

The idea of the subs mounted through the rear deck sounds good to, I could make the rear sub box panel out of clear plexiglass and then I could line the other panel insides with some mirror plexi and then throw a few leds in there to light the box up. IDEAS, IDEAS.
