No need to be attacking, so I f***ed it up, I just wanted an answer, I did hook it up to the car battery as stated in my post, it was only blowing fuses before, so I guess I had a bit of help in the boo boo dept.
o.k. here is what happened and it doesnt look good. First I changed to a 10 amp fuse and then hooked it up to battery the unit then beeped showed power and then went off, I then smelled the back of H/U and it smelled burnt
Hi, I am pretty new to this electrical stuff. I just bought a Jensen dvd player at an auction and was trying to find out if it had power. I connected it to a jump starter and it keeps blowing the power line fuse. I have a 7.5 amp fuse. I feel kinda stupid but it does power up for a second before...
