I was under the impression that mtx were designed for sealed enclosures..Am i wrong? if so we have a few shops here in town that build custom boxes so i can have a ported or vented box built fairly cheap.

Ok thanks for the advice, im getting a sealed probx. I am currently running a kenwood 8105d amp, so with a new box i hopefully will see some improvement.

Ok, right now i am currently running 2 12" 8ohm MTX 7000s, Im looking at 2 12" dvc hifonic HFX12D4 HF Series. I want to know if these would sound better than my 7000s, Ive heard good things about the hifonics but i want to be sure before i purchase them and end up disappointed. Any advice would...
