    Stupid question on wiring HU

HU is older Pioneer deh-14, which lists the preout as one 2 volt rear preout. Is this sending a mono or stereo signal? If stereo, why does it say "rear". I hooked up a rf 2 channel amp to this preout signal yesterday, and can only get one of the two front speakers to play.

    Question on Wiring Older HU

Pioneer HU-14 only has 1 preout, which is currently running to amp that drives sub. All other speakers are driven by powered outputs from HU. If I put in an amp to drive the other speakers, should I split the preout and send one leg to amp sub and one leg to other speakers amp? If I did this...

Struggling with Xtant 301a sub amp install in 03 MDX

I had a local audio install shop install an Xtant amp + ID sub in 03 MDX. When first installed, head unit had to be turned on and off 5-10 times before sub would kick in and start playing. Remote turn on always had 12.3+ volts, and all lights displayed on amp, but would still only power sub...

Power to amp registers 10.5 volts

Power to amp + power to remote both register 10.3 to 10.5 volts. Should amp be 12+ volts? I know that's enough for the remote but seems low for power.. Amp is hotwired directly to battery.

Need help with remote turn on for xtant

Just installed an xtant 301a last weekend. Whenever the head unit is turned on, the green light in the amp lights up, but doesn't always power the sub. Sometimes I need to turn the head unit on and off 5-10 times before power to subs will work. Any suggestions?

    Help with JBL 600.1 amp!!

Anyone wired a JBL 600.1 amp to a single sub? Sub is a JL W3 12" D4. I've tried a hundred different configurations but still not working properly. The only way I can get a decent level of bass, is with fader set almost all the way to the rear, loud buttom pushed on head unit, and gain and...
