Line drivers or other workarounds- HELP

Ok so after some trial and error it seems like the subwoofer RCA on my pioneer p4100dvd aren't working. However there is still some output from the sub, just not enough. So my question is would a line driver work to boost the signal to an acceptable level?

OMG whats wrong with my setup!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

ok i just tried to ground my sub out rcas, i made an 8 around the 2 then secured the ground at a screw on the side on the head unit, still nothing... I was afraid the rcas would be bad, but why is the sound output low, and not non existent? Will a line driver work? instead of laying down 600...

OMG whats wrong with my setup!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

The problem occurred when i installed my old setup in my new car, the bass is about a tenth of what it used to be. fyi The old car was using a line output converter. So as a last resort i bought a new amp and new sub hoping for the best... still nothing, speakers sound great, sub has barely any...

OMG whats wrong with my setup!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

The subwoofer is set to on and the level is on 6, bass boost on 0, eq on flat. I only get a decent response if bass boost is on and eq is set to Superbass, I am really confused. Helllp it's been like a month now. THANKS

    Affordable amp suggestions

The audio technix seems like a great option but since my car is a hatchback and the interior is like pitch black it's white color would stand out like an eyesore :/ More suggestions!!!!!!!!

    Affordable amp suggestions

Hi guys, I bought a sundown audio sd 2 10 2ohm, as it turns out my measly 380 rms pioneer amp can barely move the sub, so I need an affordable amp which can run this sub at its max potential. Thanks

    subwoofer volume too low?

My old pioneer sub was designed for a box with .65 cubic feet, the sundowns optimum cubic feet for a sealed box is .5 cubic feet, so I would assume a .58 box is fine, especially for the sd series which was designed for a smaller box, also the low notes hit perfectly fine. I'm thinking the main...

    subwoofer volume too low?

I think its more too it than just the box, even my pioneer used to sound really nice and loud in my old car, which was using a line out converter, my new car has a proper pioneer headunit and rca inputs. Could it be possible that the rca is sending a lower voltage signal?
