It says you need to use the jumper. It shows connecting a + and a - wire to the sub, then using the jumper depending on if you want 8ohm or 2ohm. So how exactly would I do the speaker wire to connect it? Just connect it like the diagram shows and not worry about the jumpers?

I have one amp with a single 12" Alpine Type X sub. The sub didn't come with the jumpers that the owner's manual talks about, and it looks like you have to use one or two jumpers to hook it up with a single amp. Is there any way to connect this sub without the jumpers? (by looping wires or...
