firing to the rear is usually the best for any vehicle. However, if you get excessive rattling, you may want to try firing up towards the celing.

I've always liked the two identical amps, one for each sub setup. Had a couple myself. They sounded great. If money is an issue and you don't mind buying used, I would definitely go with the alpines as long as you have good impedance matching.

For a sub, I think that JL sounds better than kicker overall, but one solobaric L5 should sound alot better than the 10w0's that you now have.

I believe that the kenwood amp is somewhere in the vicinity of 220watts x 2. I know that its only stable to 2 ohms and you should see in the area of 450 x 1. I don't have the spec in front of me, but on an amp that old its gonna be kind of hard to tell. I'm just going off of what the specs...

Actually you can if you run an additional power line and RCA, but it isn't usually a good idea unless you are closely matching the output power specs. It varies what you should do based on the setup you desire. In this case don't do it unless you have the money to go shopping for another sub.

You should save the jensen to run some aftermarket interiors.
