I am looking for a new receiver, pretty much narrowed it down to the Onkyo 605 and the 705. Here is the catch, if I get the 605, I can also get the Logitech Harmony 1000 touchscreen remote . . . no cool remote with the 705. I will be hooking up an Xbox 360 and HD Dish DVR via HDMI. Upscaling...

7.1 would be nice, but not a "must have", I think I will keep an eye out and see if there are any deals on the 705. Having a hard time justifying the extra couple hundred bucks for my use.

The 705 has an imput that looks like a VGA/DVI connection, labeled rs32. The 605 does not have it. What is it used for? Just trying to figure out if the extra $$$$ is worth it for the 705.

Both amps are in 10/10 cosmetic and 10/10 mechanical condition. I am moving so please be patient with PM responses. These amps are simply amazing. I hate to part with them, but they are up for sale none the less. I also have several end caps and bridge pieces, multiple fan modules for them...

I hear all you have to do is buy the cup and then all you can drink! Honestly, though, that would be the way to get some turnout.
