    Im about to install my system into my jeep. Im putting in a q1-1200d amp, would a 160 amp alternator be big enough for my amp? Also would what would be the recommended wire gage for the big 3? Not too far down the road I will install a better battery too.

    I just purchased a ssa icon which has a fs of 31.1hz. Would I be ok with a box tuned to 30hz? Also I bought a q1-1200d, what should I set the subsonic to?

    So how do you figure out what size box to start out with, Im using online calculators and you need cubic ft to find port size but then the port size and length is going to change the cubic ft. of the box

    When a manufacturer recommends the cubic ft for the enclosure would that include the ported area or would that be separate?

    Im having trouble designing a box for a ssa icon 10 that can only go 8.5" deep. I have room in width and height but not in depth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I now realize its not gunna work like that, so I could use a wedge shape which I could go 12 deep wedged to 8 deep.

    Sorry for dumb questions, new to this, but how do you figure how much cubic ft. the sub needs inside the box? And would anything you guys said change if i bumped up to a Q1-2200D?

    Ok thanks for input on copper coil, and wiring to 1ohm would just be bridging or do you have to do something special?
