I am having this exact same issue. Did you ever find a fix for it? Rest of my speakers and amps work fine, but it seems as if the sub amp is expecting more voltage from the preouts as it barely works unless everything (volume and gain) are maxed.

I am looking at the same one. Maybe the 7500. Would like to hear some input as well.

Why not leave them sealed? Don't sound too good?

Do they sound good? I am looking to put 2 10's in a sealed box. I was a little worried because everyone always says port, but I don't have the room. What kind of power are you putting to them?

Sounds like Hx2 from what I remember.

Some amps also offer pass-through jacks directly for what you are talking about. Place your input RCAs in and run the other set out to your other amp. Then you only have one set coming from the deck, but it can supply 2 amps. I know rockford uses this.

So since they all add up to 180amp, then I would be fine with a 200amp fuse? Any advantage or disadvantage to using a 250 amp fuse? And should I be using the same size fuse between the battery and distro block, as I use between the alternator and battery? Thanks.

I have an optima yellow top in there now and am just ordering up all my wires and fuses. I am a little confused though. I know I need to fuse between the alternator and the battery, and I need to fuse the main power line going back to power all the amps. What size fuses should I be getting...

So... that means 1300rms @ 2 ohm + 460rms @ 4 ohm would be alright on a 115 (at idle) alternator? I don't mean to jack your thread... I just have a similar question.

I don't know how much you were looking to spend, but I know stinger makes 2 0 ga. output battery terminals. (One even has a fancy blue digital read out.) They are their from their expert series... so they may cost, but I think they will work for what you want.
