    also when i got my subs installed they had to extend the power wire with a coupler...could that be a possibility too?

    yea im thinkin thats the problem, but its got to be somethin with my electrical cuase when the bass hits, the lights in my car dim so im thinkin about just buyin a better battery.

    i got all 4 guage power and ground wire, the battery in the cars brand new.....maybe i need a cap????

    I installed 2 10" alpine type-r's in my 05 mustang with a kenwood amp, and it stops every like 4 min. the amp shuts off. but then when i turn off the radio for like a minuite, and turn it back on it works......for another 4 min. please anyone reply if you know this problem
