I can't really say from personal experience anything about the Brax, but I hear there outstanding. I do have two of the new Audison LRx 2.4 running my Tweeters and Mid Range; I'm very happy with the SQ.

I believe Nakamichi makes some of the best; I've heard that support is pretty much non existent.

I contacted npdang, I wanted him to tune my system with an RTA; he basically said no and now he's thinking about it. I'll be looking into the pc-based tuning solution. Thanks:)

I'm not giving up my DRZ. What I'm looking for (I think) is some kind of way to tune my system with something other than my ear for a more rounded overall sound. DIY is down for awhile and I'm looking at what some of my alternatives are.

My system sounds good; however I want it to sound better. I have it tuned by ear to the best of my ability. Someone suggested the Alpine PXE-H650 Audio Processor; wouldn't that be counter productive Digital to Analog back to Digital? What can I do now for better SQ?

One you can afford. Having some headroom is always a plus; look into the Alpine PDX-1.1000 or its little brother PDX-1.600
