The reason is I can't find anywhere locally that caries 40/50 amp fuses, only 60. And with my only running ~ 12-14 feet of 8 gauge wire, I was hoping 60 would be alright.

Well, it's 8 gauge, rubber jacketed, heavy duty wiring. 60 should be fine?

Well, it's 8 gauge wire I think, might be 10. The amp is a little Dual XIA3145. ~300 watts at 4ohms, bridged.

I'm a little confused about fuse ratings. The AGU fuse near the battery in specific, should it be the same amp rating as the sum of the fuses on the Amp itself? ( Sub amp talk ) Or does it need to be higher? or lower? for some reason. I'm assuming it should be the same, but I'm new to this...
