As far as settings they set all the settings at the installers. I have a stock navagation in an escalade with a cleansweep. So I didn't mess with it really.

I just had a 13W7 installed in a sealed Prowedge enclosure and my install guy recommended me buy a ported enclosure that it would make a world of difference. He said that it would be a whole lot louder. Is it true? What would be the difference as far as in sound if I were to change over. Thanks

I am contemplating using my Zx1500 kicker with my 13w7. How much power would I putting into that thing? Are these mismatched as far as ohms? I was thinking about getting a JL 1000/1 instead and sell the kicker. What do ya think? All advice is greatly appreciated.
