I would recommend the JL XD600/6 and a XD600/1. Very small chassis and great sounding amps.

He is going to have a hard time finding a dealer to ship to him from another state. We aren't supposed to ship their product unless authorized from DD. Have him give DD a call. He can buy direct from them or they can hook him up with the closest dealer.

I can remember back a few years ago, we did 4 PR12's on 2 MOJO 2000D's @ 1 ohm on a 16 volt setup. This was a non walled car. Those subs took it like a champ. The car did a 155 flat in the kick. Not bad for sum entry level subs.

I have never used the AQ, but I will tell you that we sell alot of PR's. They are a great budget woofer and get pretty loud for their price.

Those subs have a very stiff suspension, so break in is essential. Those subs do not perform or sound as good as they are capable of until they break in.

The PR 10" mounting depth is 5.18". I am not sure what box he is using, but if it has a pocket for a little more depth then they might work. I do know the MR and SC 10" sound alot better than the PR, but the PR's are awsome for the price.

You would love the memphis subs. They sound great for a thin sub. Only drawback to them is it takes several weeks for them to break in. The suspension is extremely tight and takes a while for them to loosen up, but when they do the subs are awsome. My brother has 4 10" S Class behind the...

3500's are great. They are awsome sounding and can still wang. I was really impressed at how good the 3518 sounds. I'm usually not imprressed with 18's for sound quality, but these suprised me.

The recall only affected the 750/1

I will have to say the problem is in the install. We have had nothing but good luck out of all the HD amps we have sold at our shop. The 750/1 is a great amp, strong, and does get warm but not hot.
