Ok, i changed the setup. Im going to run 1 12" kicker L7 (2 or 4 ohm stable) with the Viper 1200.1 Amp. Should i wire the single sub the same as 2 to get 2 ohms? And also, so it doesnt drain my car, would a gel battery be good enough or do i have to do more? Thanks guys

This is a 2 channel amp, should i bridge it still or put each sub to a channel? Sorry to sound stupid, i just wana get the most reliable power, not neccasarily the loudest, but quality. Also, should i get a cap? Its going in a mint condition 1994 mazda mx6, and i cant stress mint condition...

I purchased a Viper 1200.1 Amp and 2 Rockford Fosgate P3 12's (P312D2) just recently and I dont want to wire it up wrong. I have been installing my own systems since I could drive but now that Im older and a little smarter, I want to do it the right way...not just plug wires untill it makes...
