What's the best way to test for voltage drops, like when the system is turned up almost all the way?

I was just worried because I don't want to fry/ kill my alternator. Thank you for the replies.

No I still didn't do the Big 3 upgrade yet. I think the lights are dimming pretty good!

I have a 95 Nissan Sentra with upgraded High Output 140 amp alternator. I have 2 Rockford fosgate amps 1 is bd 1000.1 and the other is 1001bd, so pretty much the same wattage, I'm running 2 12' Alpine type X's 1000 watts each so 2000 watts rms. My question is do I need to get a bigger alternator...
