Could you at least snap me a picture of your door right now. I want to see how they fit with your grill cut out(and our door panels might be completely different since I know for sure my size is 5 1/4 so getting the 6.5 might not be a good idea). Thanks for the help so far tho!

Don't you mean the other way around(I have an EX but i think they are the same)? The front door speakers are 5 1/4, they have Silver Flutes 5.5" which should fit since I am going to be making the mounting bracket. How are those tweeters you recommended? You don't happen to have install pictures...

I'm seeing a lot of threads about these Silver Flute speakers? Are these really what everyone saids they are?

Sound deadening will be done when I pull the panels back off for new speakers. Any recommendations of front speakers for the kind of results I'm looking for?

I don't really mind the Kappas in the back, I just guess I figured they would hit lower notes better than my friends stock speakers in his Mazda 3.....but they don't. The references in the front have to go though.

I have Infinity 5 1/4 reference series in my front doors and Infinity Kappas 6x9 in the rear of my 01 Civic. They were amped on a Alpine 4 channel amp, I forget the model number but its rated 75x4. Personally I think some factor setups sound better than this crap so I am in the market for...
