    I agree man, infinity is pretty good stuff. Sorry, I didn't get back to you earlier. Some of those converters have the remote wire Incorporated in. It makes it much easier.

    Well, that was entertaining. An equalizer is cheaper. That's why I was inquiring about it. But since it's a better option to get the head unit with the equalizer built in, I'll save a little more. Is Clarions new stuff still good? And what about Alpine?

    I've got a good bit of experience hooking up amps, but I've never hooked up an equalizer. I haven't bought one yet. I'm thinking a 10-13 band. But all of them seem to be RCA output. I know I need to get power to it, ground it and run RCAs from the stereo output to the equalizer. But not sure...

    It's not all that easy, your much better off with a better head unit. But you didn't ask that so I'll tell you what I know. You will need Line Output Converter. Some have a built-in remote wire hookup. They also have the preamp output hookups that your stock radio probably doesn't have. Where...

    I have a pioneer head unit. Not sure on the model at the moment, I'll have to get back to you on that. But it's tuning capabilities are minimal. Basic auto tune settings. My amp is a Rockford 600 watt 4 channel. I think it's 2 ohm stable, but not sure. And I probably should change all 4 mids...
