I checked yesterday and one voice coil works fine whenn hooked up to the amp by itself, while the other shorts out the amp like before. So, I guess I've destroyed one voice coil?

The voice coils aren't connected within the subwoofer itself right? Because I ran power into the positive and out of the negative terminals on the same coil, while connecting the positive and negative terminals to each other on the other voice coil, all the current should have been running...

In your opinions, will the SE10 sound better?

Uh Oh. I just bought a RE SE10. I can run it at 600 RMS at 2 Ohms. Is it gonna be louder than the kicker the? or just an unnoticable 3db. I hope it will be louder

I ran an 850rms @ 2 Ohms amp at full gain to only one voice coil on a Kicker Comp CVR07 2 Ohm DVC. I know I would blow the sub ( I did.) I goofed up the wiring. But I figured it would be really loud running at 850 watts, but it doesn't seem any louder than when I ran it hooked up correctly at...

Would I be better off with a RE SE10 than with a FI SSD?

Now I want something that will utilize all 850wRMS from the amplifier. I don't think they'll do that
