should i just set it at normal listening levels, because thats the only way i can get the voltage down to the range i need to set it at

i turned bass boost all the way down, and my gains are full counterclockwise. i set the hu to all neutral levels and turned off the lpf. at normal listening levels, i can get the voltage around the 40 range but when i crank it up to halfway it jumps up to 80. my amp puts out 560 @ 4 ohms bridged.

**** i keep getting reads around 80 volts using the bridged leads. if i do seperate channels i get readings around 35 volts. should i double the number i got from the formula since im bridging my amp?

turned out to be the amp. i fed the two different channels to the same input jack and whatever channel was connected to the jack would be the problem channel. i also got a couple really loud thumps during a song which was kind of weird. oh well, time to upgrade!

hopefully it is, i just got my knuconeptz in today so ill test it out tomorrow. the only thing thats weird is when i push the rca plug in the channel starts to work again
