Amen. I just ripped all of my a/d/s/ stuff out of the car and replaced it with Diamond Audio for mids and highs and Eclipse 88120s for subs -- plus I just added another amp (Xtant x1001) to power the subs. I had all a/d/s/ before. The SQ was awesome, but the SPL just wasn't there. And, like...

Heya, Kmu, thanks for the comments. I'm trying to maximize the amp I am currently work with -- and I think i'd need a bigger amp if I went with the Titaniums. I think I'd seriously underdrive the subs if i went to the 88120Ti. And I know that I would be leaving watts on the table, so to speak...

Geonn, I will certainly let you know. As of now, I am probably going with the Eclipse's. But I still had time to change my mind, so I was considering the JL's as well.

All things being equal, which would be the better setup for SPL and SQ. I'd like the subs to hit hard but I also want some SQ as well. Which would be the better setup using an Xtant 1001 to drive them? 2 JL 10W7s or 2 12" Eclipse 88120 Aluminums?
