:confused:ok im runing 16 guage speaker wire to my jl 12w6's but i recently got a jl 10w7 and it came in a wired up box the guy was using 8 guage power and ground wires as speaker wire so i was thinking does he know something i dont ?will this help for more power flow?

i also read you should put the battery in some kind of casing or box or in the speaker box incase it explodes lol but i did read that.

i think you need a isolater between them also from what im reading on here so one battery wont draw from the other

I read that you cannot just add a second battery without geting a bigger alternator because they said it would put to much strain on your alternator trying to charge 2 batterys and it would kill it or cause electrical problems whats your thoughts?

Hey guys maybe you can help ok i have 2 jl12w6 runing off my jl 500 and i bought a 10w7 and put it on the jl500 to compare .The 2 12w6 killed the 10w7 in my trunk so im wondering what direction to go i wanted to do 2 10w7 and a jl 1000 or just stick with the 12w6 and maybe a put a jl 1000 on...

the jl w7 has alot of excursion you really have to build the box way off the floor for fire down
