Don't worry about that...there is a high impedance on the amp's inputs, your deck won't really care about 2 or 4 channels.

I meant to mention...JL Audio A6450 (6 channel) isn't the strongest amp, but it will be flexible, and I haven't heard them, but they are supposed to be clean amps

Well I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but you might be able to find JL Audio's 5 channel used or on ebay or used for about that price, and that seems like that might be a really nice amp. I'm not sure what other decent 5 channels are out there, but there's not a whole lot of them...

Please then explain why many people claim those amps are underrated?
