    Yeah, I already looked at that and there's literally only one place to plug in each wire from the sub. But, I figured out the problem and now it's working fine. It was just a bad ground, so i fixed that and now it's perfect. Thanks for the advice guys.

    Okay, I just went back and measured the voice coil resistance again, and I got 4 ohms this time. I was using a bad multi-meter.

    I took the sub out of the box and there was no sticker or anything. Here is the sub: Here is the back of the sub: --The "Top" lead is the positive lead. And the "Bottom" is the negative lead. There's two "terminals" on both sides that I can plug a wire into.

    Also, I forgot to mention that this only happens at higher volumes. Like about 5/8 of the way turned up, on the head unit, and above.

    I measured the voice coil resistance to be about 2.2 ohms.

    I have no idea. The amp and sub were given to me. The guy said he was able to use both of these together. The gain is probably only a quarter to half of the way up. All I can tell you is that it's a Kicker comp 10" sub and a Toxic Audio S200.2 amp. There's no specs anywhere on them.
