    Looking for 5CH Amp...

I went with the US Amps AX-5600. I wanted to try the ARC Audio 5150XXK but I couldn't find one. The ARC has a smaller footprint, which I need, but the US Amps is only slightly bigger, and has more power.

    US Amps AX-5600 question

The older 5600-X, though it was a 5 channel amp, only had two pairs of inputs. The sub channel input was derived from a full range signal to one pair of inputs. Thus, it rendered your head unit's sub level control useless. My question is, does the newer AX-5600 have the same "feature"?

Trying to decide between 2 5-channel amps

For what it's worth, I am looking for a 5 channel amp, and I am considering the Arc Audio 5010XXK. It may be a tad underpowered, but it is considered a SQ amp.

    Arc Audio 5150XXK question

I've decided on a Soundsplinter RL-i8 sub for my new system, but I am unsure if a 5150XXK is sufficient power for this sub. It is rated at 190Wx1 @2ohm, according to their web site, but it is unclear as to what the power output is at 4ohm. I placed an order for a SVC 4ohm sub, and I am...

    8' Subs

Does anyone know of a phone number for Soundsplinter? I messaged them regarding a question I had about the RL-i8 but have not received a reply. I'd like to contact them via phone if possible, and I didn't see one listed on their site.

    Sub Solutions for Nissan Frontier

After considering my options, I've decided to go with an 8" subwoofer in a custom-made rear center console. As I will only have a single 8", it has to be a good one. Everyone seems to be raving about the RL-i8. The ID8D2v3 looks like a good choice as well. Basically, I need something that...

    Sub Solutions for Nissan Frontier

If I do option 4, I would probably go with a 10" Kicker L7. It would fit nicely, has a relatively shallow mounting depth, and has about as much surface area as a 12" sub. The amplification then becomes the biggest problem. I would need two amps with a small enough footprint to fit under the...

    Sub Solutions for Nissan Frontier

I am building a system for my Nissan Frontier Crew Cab, but I am having trouble deciding on where to install the sub(s). I plan on using a 5 channel amp to drive the whole system (probably a JL 500/5 or a PG R9.0:5), which would have to be mounted under the large section of the 70/30 split rear...
