ok after haking rca plugs the interferance has gone but the music will stop and start when using things bringing me back toi the power issue i think more powetr is need can i do this with a capacitor or some thing? is this the issue ? #Majestic

Ok yep i get u we gona eliminate each piece of equipment one at a time and u rekon the amp could be the part ok i will butcher one of the cbale i got and try and get my dad to pick me up some plugs so i can mute both chanles thanx i be trying the muting thing in about 2 hours will report back...

Ok just a questin=on jumping a head of my slef now but if i mute all chanles how do i get the signal in ? BTW i forgot u probibly could do with this too i have high inputs as well but they use a special cable adapter. Majestic (off too see if i can find any rca plugs?)

Well i re ran the speaker cable as i was unhappy with the connections redid the shorting of the 2nd set of phonos thsi all improved it but still sound interferance and stoping and starting when lighst are put to high and low beam and hazzard lights are on but masivly reduced also when...

Ok well i tryed shorting it ith a old cable i had with one end and just put cable togther no diffrence i did find a lose conection in the cables that were soldered to the spekers that has been sorted but still the same the lights and windscreen wipers make the sound stop and start and...

Right so what i have to do is with the second pare of rca's is conect a cheap pair of cables and short it out is thsi correct? by touching the middle and outer parts of the plugs together? will try tonight Majestic

i thought that it may be some thing to do with the power not being enough (i need a capacitor or soem thing) as when i used soem thing it kinda detratcted the amont of power going to the amp as the beetle is a 1972 car kida old not designed to suport a amp. majestic
