    Im 100% sure that I have no reversed wire however when I set the fader to the front the "clipping" stops. So im starting to suspect that my power line going to the head unit is too small. Also i want to add that the head unit dims when the speakers starts putting out mid/heavy bass... What does...

    what exactly do you mean by 30 loose wire??? and crossed wire as in reversed polarity??

    Today I installed a Pioneer DEH-1320mp to replace a cheap head unit thats 4x40 watts. I'm running a 10" active subwoofer on the pre-out, and the head unit is powering two kicker 3.5" 2 way drivers on the dash and two pioneer 6x9 3 way on the back. Here is the problem with my new Pioneer...
