I know there are newer/better speakers out there, but I have been looking for one of these for quite a few years. And I just recently acquired this one at the price of free, so I am going to top off my old school soundstream system in my Supra. Does woofercooker just sell the part, or do repairs?

I have a Soundstream SPL160 that I think has a bad voice coil, does anyone know of a place where I could send it to have it repaired? thx in advance

To all the people saying "I just bought my first Alpine, and it doesnt feel crappy".. Thats because you have been accustomed to crap. And you dont know what old Alpine is. You would think that Alpine would be loyal to the true audio buffs out there, who own CDs and dont care about iPod...

I searched but I couldnt come up with anything. Why do the latest models of Alpine head units seem really cheap and junky? They dont have motorized faces anymore, and they just seem kinda cheapy. Did Alpine get bought out or something, or are they just starting to cut costs like every other...

Good choice with the Camry. The Sky/Solstice interiors are prob the worst I have ever seen. REALLY cheapy.
