I tested out my theory of playing my music at a lower volume when I’m by myself in the car and the bass went out after a few minutes. But once I turned up the music the bass came back on immediately. Any suggestions? Opinions?

Why when I lower my volume does the bass start to go in and out? This only happens when I have a passenger because I need to lower my volume. When I’m alone it never happens. Obviously, I like my music loud. Can anyone help me? I’m blown (haha) away by this issue.

Does anyone know if these Kicker grills are worth it?

Are equalizers still a good option? Thinking about adding one to my audio system. Does that cause more current to be drawn from under the hood? Does it improve music, really?

If I see any dimming or anything like that, that would be my first upgrade. Most likely get a battery that can handle it better than my Toyota battery (once it dies). But I’m opposed to putting a bigger alternator.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and try not to bump it too hard. Maybe it won’t use as much current? It’s hard not to thump it, it sounds so good.

Thanks. I’d prefer not to have to install an high output alternator because I decided to upgrade from my previous 15’ comp subwoofer and kicker dx125. I know, big jump.
