I have seen many people using barrier strips on this site. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how they work. I mean if you hook power to one of the positions is it spread to the whole strip or what?

Dont buy them from Radioshack. You will be disappointed at how dim they are and how much they cost. The website I get mine from when i mod Xboxs and computers is 123leds.com. They are cheap and have good brightness.
